Nick Rail, a Californian music store owner, has donated the entire proceeds of his company's sale to the Wild Rivers Community Foundation in order to support local arts programs. The donation has helped fund the donation of over 300 new instruments to schools in the area, and the establishment of a full repair shop at the high school, as well as renovations to the student performance space.
Rail has also been involved in the community, working with students and accepting the 2021 NAMM Believe in Music Award. He and his wife are working to establish a scholarship program, a visiting artist program, and a $42 million capital campaign to build a 1,000 seat Center for the Performing Arts on the high school campus.
